Kilo Cloud Agents is an AI-driven cloud-based coding environment that enables developers to code from any device without the need of a local machine. This platform offers isolated Linux container environments, preloaded with common development tools, as a workspace for each session, which ensures developers' work is organized and contained.Within the working session, automatic branch management is active, so that a user's repo is cloned and a unique branch created at the beginning of a session. All modifications are auto-committed and pushed continually, ensuring no loss of data.The platform's environment is ephemeral, spinning containers down during inactivity and back up when needed. Inactive sessions get deleted after a week; however, they remain accessible via CLI.Kilo's setup process is straightforward, comprising of four steps: connecting to GitHub or GitLab, selecting a repository, configuring your environment, and beginning a coding session.Developers can benefit from reusable environment profiles, webhook triggers, skills, and seamless session portability. Environment variables and secrets can be added that are injected into the container at the start of a session. Additionally, sessions are restorable locally and can be resumed in the Cloud Agent, offering flexibility between environments. The tool is suitable for diverse coding needs such as remote debugging, codebase exploration, automated refactoring, and architecture-mode brainstorming.
